Since Qatar was awarded the world cup thousands of migrant workers have died or been seriously injured while building the infrastructure for the tournament. The idea was to create a set of football cards that looked like the official cards of the Fifa Qatar World Cup but with a twist. Instead of players the cards where true stories about 50 of the migrant workers that had died in Qatar. Blankspot Journalism was the investigating journalism team who researched and wrote the stories and Forza Football helped bring the project to life. The project recieved world buzz and was written about all over the world.
